50 % liquid calcium glycerophosphate is an aqueous solution containing acidic calcium glycerophosphate
and some free glycerophosphoric acid.
For combining calcium and phosphorus in a form which is easily assimilated by the tissues,
it is used in the treatment of functional asthenia.
In the prevention of dental decay, calcium glycerophosphate, in association with fluorined derivatives,
emphasizes the anti-decay action, it therefore allows reduction of the doses of these derivatives
and consequently their toxicity.
In food, use as an additive for a dietetic purpose (substance for mineral contribution).
